![]() What is ONE thing you learned from participating in ALL-IN FIGHT CAMP challenge that will help you continue your journey with an ALL-IN attitude? The one major thing I learned from this challenge that will help me continue with an ALL-IN attitude is accountability! My mom was my partner, and I loved being able to go to her with the highs and lows of the challenge, and know that I wasn't alone! I also got a lot of comments by posting my challenge posts on my personal Facebook page, and it helped keep me accountable knowing that others were aware of my journey. It also gave me motivation from places I wasn't expecting and reminded me that I am able to be an inspiration to others. I was always hesitant to share my health and fitness goals and progress on my social media because I thought people would laugh at me. I would type posts and delete them - worried about what others thought. I learned through this challenge that most people are there to cheer you on, help in any way they can, and that my fitness goals/lifestyle can be a fabulous platform to launch my testimony.
In the end, did you get the results you desired...physically? spiritually? In the end, I did not get the physical results I desired, but WOW did I ever grow spiritually! My favorite part was picking my "fitness journey" bible verse and I still continue to use that verse to motivate me to honor God with my choices. What factors do you believe contributed to your success? or lack thereof? Having to post our daily challenge and check-in with the group was a huge reason I was able to finish the challenge strong, and keep going even when I wasn't seeing the physical results I was hoping for. What is your next step on your continuing your health journey? I wouldn't say I have a next step in my health journey; it's just a continuing step - continuing using the SWEAT principles to make healthy choices every day! What is one word of encouragement you would give someone who is struggling with their health journey? One word of encouragement I would give to someone who is struggling on their health journey or who is desiring to get started is to know that this is not a downhill slide - it's a roller coaster of ups and downs. But always remember that your daily wins - no matter how big or small they may be - are glorifying God and pushing you down the path of honoring God with your body. And THAT is always worth it.
