READ ACTS 8-10
My verses:
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right. (Acts 10:34, 35 NIV)
Just as God does not show favoritism, I shouldn't either. It is not my responsibility to choose who will hear and receive His message of salvation or to judge what others do as right or wrong. Neither does God accept us based on where we come from or reject us based on who we are.
I am thankful that we all are accepted on the basis of the condition of our heart and how we live that out. And when we surrender our hearts to His leading and authority, He will accept us and show us how to fear Him and do what is right. He sees me just as special as a notable Christias like Beth Moore, Francis Chan or even Billy Graham. But how much God can use me is dependent on how surrendered I am to Him...
How does it make you feel to know that God doesn't have favorites?
