Bringing Glory to God

Read John 17-19

My verses:

I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do... Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. (John 17:4, 17 NLT)

These two verses are so simple but so key to honoring God with our whole lives! If you desire to please God, He gives us two simple instructions:

1. Complete the work He gave you to do.

God created and designed you for a purpose. Determine what that is and give yourself to it wholeheartedly.

2. Be holy, for He is holy. And John 17:17 tells us we become holy by knowing His truth (the Bible). Take time daily to know God's truth and apply it to your life.
