Read Luke 11-13.
I have several verses today that all tie into one thought for the day:
Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.” (Luke 11:28 NLT)
Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom. (Luke 12:25, 31, 32 NLT)
As we settle into our new house and get ready to leave back to Texas, I find myself a bit overwhelmed with all the to-do lists that I want to check off...but God has definitely reminded me this morning that there's no need to worry--when I put Him first, He will supply all I need and I will be blessed when I practice this peace throughout my day.
There's so much truth packed into these verses, but they all remind me to TRUST God...trust Him to lead me, to provide for me, to protect me, and to prosper me. Trust that He is in control and He cares for me. And when I trust Him and seek His face (who He is) more than I seek His hand (what He can do), I will have all I need for each moment of my life.
How will you turn your worry into trust today?
